Five Ways to Style a Pleated Midi Skirt Outfit

A pleated midi skirt is a wardrobe essential for any woman. No matter what season it is, you can pull one out of your closet and rock it.

I’m obsessed with pleated midi skirts. I own about 6 of them in different colors. This yellow one might be my favorite by far. I’ve gotten so many comments on how the color pops on me. What makes this skirt even better is that it has pockets! I picked this skirt up at Target from their A New Day collection for under $30.

My go-to way to style a pleated midi skirt is with a graphic tee. On days when I’m in a hurry, I can throw on one of my favorite graphic tees with a pleated skirt. If I’m heading out for a day of errands, I throw on a pair of my favorite sneakers. For a dressier look, I style it with some mules or pumps.

There are so many ways to style a pleated midi skirt outfit and I wanted to share a couple of my favorite ways with you.

Five Ways to Style a Pleated Midi Skirt Outfit

  1. With a graphic tee (similar to this look here)
  2. Sweaters for winter (a monochrome look is super cute!)
  3. Pair it with a button down shirt
  4. Add a fitted jacket and sneakers
  5. Style it with a plaid shirt

If a pleated skirt isn’t a part of your wardrobe essentials, you should think about adding one. Here’s a few of my favorite midi skirts under $75.
