Who else is ready for Christmas? I mean, Tatiana is literally counting down the days. I’m actually not ready for it yet because I want to hold on to all of the holiday looks and maybe the cookies too. Red is one of my favorite colors, especially for brown girls. It makes our skin pop. When I saw this dress while shopping online at Boohoo, I had to add it to my cart. Can you believe it was under $20? I’m loving monochrome lately. Have you seen this monochrome mustard look that I styled? I decided to rock this super cute party dress with red shoes and a red lip for my Vera Bradley holiday shopping party over the weekend. This red party dress was one of the last pieces that I’ve added to my wardrobe for the year. We’re putting ourselves on a super tight budget since we’re buckling down to buy a house at some point next year. We decided clothing was one of the areas that we needed to cut back. It’s a little sad because I love to shop but I’ll be so much happier when I’m able to shop for things for our new home. This dress was the perfect investment piece. Not only can I wear it to our holiday parties but I’m sure I’ll be breaking it out for Valentine’s Day and date nights too. The flowiness makes it the perfect for every occasion.
