Last week, Tatiana and I headed to may or may not have played hookie to go to the Legoland Ninjago World grand opening. Legoland is one of our favorite local theme parks so once we got the invite, I knew we had to go.
If you’ve ever been to Legoland Florida you know that they have the perfect amount of rides and activities for the little ones. This was our third visit (read about why we love Legoland here). We were lucky enough to be among the first crowd to experience Ninjago World. The new area features outdoor hands-on activities where kids can sharpen their ninja skills before the ultimate showdown on Lego Ninjago The Ride.
Tatiana had so much fun practicing her ninja skills. She got to pose and practice her favorite ninja poses with Master Wu and all of the Ninjago characters. She even got to pose with her favorite character, Nya. Throughout Ninjago World, there’s a rock climbing wall that every kid will love and a super fun game called Jay’s Lightning Drill.
While waiting in line for the ride, Tatiana got to play with legos. This is probably one of the best things that could have been included in the ride because we all know that sometimes kids get inpatient. The legos are a great way to occupy the kids while waiting. The ride was beyond amazing! It was the perfect blend of 3D computer animation and 4D effects. I didn’t know what to expect on this ride. All I knew is that we would be expected to pull out our best ninja moves. Let me tell you that this ride was awesome but my arms were so tired after from all of the chops of fury and Shuriken shuffles.
All in all, we had a great time at Legoland Ninjago World. We can’t wait to go back and bring Dad with us next time.
