Making a trip to Orlando or just a local looking for something to do? Check out our favorite places to visit in Orlando in this post written in partnership with Toyota.
Orlando has been our home for the past 6 years. My husband lived here first and then Tatiana and I joined him when she was almost a year old. When we first moved here, we were couch potatoes. I was still in college and working part-time and my husband worked full-time. During our free time we were so tired. We stayed home most of the time watching movies and playing games while watching Tatiana grow.
As she grew older, we were determined to get out and do more. We wanted her to experience the world around her and travel more as a family. Because the anxiety of traveling with a baby is real, we started small. Orlando has so many things to offer that there was always something here to do. Over the years we’ve found our favorite places to visit in Orlando. We partnered with Toyota to take a trip to our favorite spots in the Toyota Camry.
Our Favorite Places to Visit in Orlando
1. The Florida Mall
The Florida Mall has so much to offer besides just shopping. They are constantly having fun events. One of our favorite things to do is stop into the Apple store for their one-hour kids classes.
2. Walt Disney World
Who doesn’t love spending the day at Walt Disney World? Tatiana’s first visit was at 2 years old and she’s been hooked ever since. We celebrated her 7th birthday there and even went to the Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot for the first time this year. If Disney isn’t in the budget, head to Disney Springs for some free fun. They have outdoor events from time to time.
3. Goldfish Swim School
Goldfish Swim School is a new indoor pool in our area. Tatiana has been taking lessons there for months. Family swim time at Goldfish is one of our favorite ways to spend our free time. It’s an affordable way to create memories together as a family.
4. Foxtail Coffee
Looking for a hip, trendy coffee spot with tasty coffee and good eats? Foxtail Coffee is the spot. They have multiple locations in Orlando so it’s convenient no matter what side of town you’re on.
5. Universal
6. I-Drive 360
I-Drive 360 is the home of the Orlando Eye, Madame Tussauds, and SEA Life Orlando. Plan to spend an entire day here to visit all of the attractions and your pick of restaurants.
7. New Smyrna Beach
8. Legoland
9. Habit Burger Grill
How many times have you been cruising through your city and suddenly get hungry? Habit Burger Grill is our favorite fast food joint for a bite to eat when we’re on the go. The food is affordable and delicious, and the menu has something everyone loves.
For our walk down memory lane, we hopped into the Toyota Camry. The sleek design made the Camry the perfect ride through the City Beautiful. We turned up the tunes, opened up the panoramic sunroof, and hit the road.
