Have you ever heard of Alt Summit? It’s the “premiere conference for creative entrepreneurs and stylish social media influencers”. For years Alt Summit has held the title of being the trendiest blogger conference that everyone wants to go to. It’s always been a huge dream of mine to go and experience what it was like but I’ve yet to make it happen…

I was honestly waiting until the new year to spill the beans but when I got an email this morning about who the opening keynote would be, I couldn’t hold it in any longer.

I’m speaking at Alt Summit 2019!!!!!!

True story, never in a million years did I think that speaking would be something that I wanted to do but speaking at Type-A earlier this year changed my mind. I applied to be a speaker at Alt Summit not expecting to be picked at all. Some of the biggest and most notable bloggers speak at this conference. I didn’t think that they would pick this little old brown girl to share her knowledge.

I’ll be sharing everything I know about storytelling through authentic sponsored content. I can’t even tell you how excited I am to be heading to Palm Springs for the first time ever to attend a conference that I’ve dreamed of for so long. My family is going with me so we’ll make it a week long experience. What makes it even better is my bestie, Joanna Gaines, is the opening keynote speaker! Ok, she’s not my bestie in real life but she totally is in my head. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched episodes of Fixer Upper and strolled through aisles of Target dreaming about owning every single piece in every Hearth & Hand collection.
