This post was written in partnership with Honey Baked Ham. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Mother’s Day is right around the corner. Motherhood is a wild ride. It’s not easy but the title of mom is my favorite of all. We only get once a year to celebrate ourselves so this year I partnered with Honey Baked Ham to do something special for a few of my favorite mom bloggers in Orlando. The Honey Baked Ham Mother’s Day brunch gave us a chance to catch up and share some of our craziest stories while eating the most amazing food.
I can’t even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this brunch. Good people, good stories, and most importantly good food were the things that made this brunch so special.
Honey Baked Ham Mother’s Day Brunch Menu
Of course you can’t have brunch without having the perfect menu. The best Mother’s Day meals start with Honey Baked Ham. When I began planning this brunch, I new I wanted a well rounded menu. I chose the Complete Ham Brunch along with a few other items. Honey Baked Ham provided the most delicious options that were quick and easy to prepare.
Complete Ham Brunch
- Honey Baked Ham® (8 lbs.)
- Pepper Bacon (1.5 lbs.)
- Cinnamon Apples (2 lbs.)
- Buttermilk Pancake Mix (12 oz. bag)
- 100% Pure Maple Syrup (8 oz. bottle)
- Cinnamon Walnut Coffee Cake (9″)
The Complete Ham Brunch was a complete hit! Honestly I don’t know what my favorite was but the pancake bar and cinnamon walnut coffee cake were beyond amazing.
If you’re in charge of hosting the Mother’s Day brunch for this year, I highly suggest a pancake bar. The buttermilk pancake mix that comes with the Complete Ham Brunch is so tasty. I used the mix to whip up mini pancakes to go along with the hand-glazed ham and roasted turkey. Here’s a few tips for putting together the pancake bar.
Making The Perfect Pancake Bar
- Use the buttermilk pancake mix from the Complete Ham Brunch kit to make as many pancakes as your heart desires.
- Mini pancakes work best, especially if you have a complete spread. This will allow your guests to give everything at the table a try.
- Give your guest a combination of sweet and savory topping. I opted for sliced strawberries, cinnamon apples, blueberries, and orange walnut cranberries. Nuts are a great option too!
- Don’t forget the syrup and whipped cream!
Once you’ve got your pancake bar and spread all set up, you can focus on the table settings. The cottage where we had our brunch was bright and colorful so I wanted to stick to that. When you’re planning you’re brunch choose a theme and color palette that you think your guests will love. Since Mother’s Day falls in the Spring, I wanted the decor to reflect that. I think it turned out wonderfully! The guests loved it and the hint of gold was just right.
If the mamas in your life are in need of something special, a brunch is the way to go! You can head to HoneyBaked Ham or simply place your order online and wait for the goods to arrive at your doorstep. The process is so simple for a busy mama like me. Grab the mimosas or mocktails, create a delicious spread, and host a brunch to celebrate motherhood together.
Yum, this is the best spread! I know I’d love it. Honey baked ham is delicious. I love the decor too!
