I love living in Florida. There are so many things to do and see in this little old sunshine state. Last week I had the chance to visit yet another city in my home state. I headed to Jupiter for a few days of fun and relaxation. If you asked me before this trip, what a day in the life of a Jupiter local was like I couldn’t tell you. I would assume that it is like any other person, but that would be wrong. Jupiter is a small town in South Florida where every single day feels like you’re in heaven. Life is very laid back. During my time in Jupiter, I stayed at the lovely Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa and experienced what it was like to be a Jupiter local.
The resort is in the perfect location. It is on the beach and farther back from the main roads so you don’t hear the noise of the traffic. I got to the resort after sunset and was greeted by the loveliest staff. The Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa was beautiful. The mini bridge to the parking and the resort itself was something that I had never seen before. It has the cutest pineapple lights on the side of the bridge – which makes for one of the best picture spots at the resort.
After check-in, I headed up to my room on the 6th floor to prep for my first night as a Jupiter local. The rooms at JBR are nothing short of perfect! They are spacious and have everything that you would need – a mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, and the best bathroom lighting.
On my first night in town, I visited the new popular restaurant The Woods. Yes, it’s owned by the Tiger Woods. The Woods is about 5 minutes from the resort. It has been open for a few months now and it’s one of the restaurants that the Jupiter locals frequent. The vibe of the restaurant is different than any other in the town. It’s upscale and has more of an urban feel. They have a wide variety of selections to choose from and even offer a special vegan menu upon request. The Woods is a great place to visit alone or with a group.
After dining at The Woods, I headed back to my room at the Jupiter Beach Resort and called it a night. The next day I had a full list of activities planned that came highly recommended from a few Jupiter locals themselves. The day started off with deep sea fishing which was definitely an interesting experience (read about it here).
After a few hours of fishing on the Loxahatchee River, we headed back to JBR to enjoy some of the amenities that the resort offers. Jupiter Beach Resort has an amazing spa, game room, pool, jacuzzi, gym, and even a billiards room. There’s literally something for everyone. The spa & salon at JBR is an oasis for anyone who’s in need of a little pampering. They offer everything including facials, massages, hair services, manicures, and pedicures.
Not in the mood for activities? Order room service, grab a great book, and relax in your comfy bed. There’s nothing better than taking a moment to enjoy the peace and quiet of Jupiter.
One thing that you absolutely, positively must do when staying at Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa is dine at Sinclair’s. Sinclair’s is located on the lobby level of JBR and is Jupiter’s only oceanfront restaurant. I promise that you will fall in love with the food. Their dinner is to die for! The seafood is fresh and everything is made to order. There were so many great options on their menu that I didn’t know what to choose. After the chef’s description of the shrimp ravioli, I decided to go with that as an appetizer. Let me tell you that that is the best shrimp ravioli that I have ever had in my life! Then came my entree – beef tenderloin. OH MY GOSH! The beef tenderloin was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. I can see why all of the locals love Sinclair’s. You get mouthwatering food, great service, amazing drinks, and you’re guaranteed to have a good time.
Have you every visited Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa? What are some of your favorite things to do there?
