You know that age old fashion faux pas, no white after labor day? Well, I don’t live by that. I refuse to give up white for a portion of the year because of some outdated rule that someone just made up. Matter of fact, I don’t think I’ve ever followed that rule. There’s something about the color white that just transforms your look. I think that it makes an outlook look so crisp and clean. I love it so much!
I’ll be styling a few different white after Labor Day looks this fall. I wanted to start with an all white and beige look, even my sunnies have a pop of white, plus share a few tips for how to wear white after labor day.
- Pair white with leather to give it an edge that is perfect for fall or winter. I love to pair white with a classic black leather jacket but you can always style it with a fun red or green leather jacket too.
- Try adding a white sweater or trench coat to your look.
- Give off-white a try instead.
- Don’t forget about the white nail polish because it’s always in no matter the season.
Stay tuned for a few more white looks that I’ve got up my sleeves. I know for a fact that I’ll be restyling this white ruffle top again for fall. Would you wear white after Labor Day? If so, let me know how you would wear it. Not sure? Here’s a few more styling tips that I love from Elle.
