Thanksgiving is all about spending time with family and friends surrounded by loads of good food all while giving thanks for everything you’re thankful for. Things are a different little for us this year. We’re in a new home and have so much to be thankful for. Instead of doing the traditional formal Thanksgiving dinner this year, we’re switching things up a bit. Instead we decided to host a Friendsgiving. When choosing what food we would serve, we of course went with HoneyBaked Ham. They have the most delicious options and would allow us to bring our casual Friendsgiving food ideas to life.

Casual Friendsgiving Food Ideas
1. Appetizers
Every good dinner party has appetizers. Typically like to serve a 3-course meal for Thanksgiving so we kept it the same for our friendsgiving. We started with appetizers that we knew everyone would love: macaroni and cheese bakes, sweet potato puffs, and bacon wrapped chicken.
2. Heat and serve sides
The best thing about hosting a friendsgiving or any dinner party with HoneyBaked Ham is their heat and serve dishes. They offer a variety of side dishes that are easy to prepare for even the beginning cooks. Simply heat, serve and enjoy with your guests. The HoneyBaked sides are the perfect compliment to any meal. The Sweet Potato Souffle, Tuscan-Style Broccoli, and Cheesy Potatoes Au Gratin were a huge hit with our guests!
3. Bite size sandwiches
This year instead of serving sliced ham, we put a fun spin on a traditional favorite. We created bite size ham sandwiches for our guests to enjoy. Every bite is the best bite with the sweet & crunchy glazed ham. Since everyone likes different toppings on with their ham, we created a small bar with topping options for a build your own station. This was great especially for the kids.
4. Desserts
Of course you can’t forget the desserts at any dinner party. Pecan and pumpkin pies are always great options to serve. Cheesecake always seems to be a good choice as well!
