My family and I attended Disney Typhoon Lagoon H2O Glow Nights as a part of a media event.
I grew up on Toy Story. So did my husband. My daughter watched all 3 movies for the first time last summer. When Disney announced that they would be opening Toy Story Land later this year, I got excited. It would be a chance to experience Toy Story Land together as a family. Disney has a way of adding something even more magical to their movies when they bring them to life in the theme parks. Disney Typhoon Lagoon H20 Glow Nights is Disney’s latest attempt at bringing Toy Story characters to life in one of their parks, and boy did they get it right.
Disney Typhoon Lagoon H20 Glow Nights
Have you ever been to Typhoon Lagoon? It’s one of Disney’s two water parks and it’s definitely a park you won’t want to miss visiting. We kicked off the first official day of summer celebrating H2O Glow Nights at Typhoon Lagoon. The nighttime pool party was nothing short of epic. Partysaurus Rex was our host for the night. Along with the DJ, he kept the party going all night long. Glow-in-the-dark drinks, inner tubes, character greetings, and special menu items add something unique to the event. Overall, H20 Glow Nights was interactive. The DJ kept the crowd going with games and what seemed to be an endless dance party.
Rides and attractions remain open during Glow Nights so that visitors can get extra time enjoying their favorite rides. We couldn’t get Tatiana to leave the wave pool. I think if it was up to her she would have spent the entire time dancing the night away while playing in the waves.
Disney Typhoon Lagoon H20 Glow Nights takes place on Thursdays and Saturdays through August 11. Head here for more event details and tickets.
This looks like it was a super fun event! I haven’t been to a WDW waterpark in years but I want to get back soon.
This event looks like so much fun! I wish I lived close to Disney. I know the kiddos would love to attend something like this.

Your daughter is having so much fun at this event, she is a star. I have not been to Disney in a while and this lagoon is a good reason to get back there.

What an awesome experience! The only thing that could top a water park for my children would be a water park that also includes extra glow in the dark fun. Our family would have a blast for sure!
