Becoming a hot mom can be easy with a few simple tips. Thank you to Mirum for sponsoring todayβs conversation. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’ve been at this motherhood thing for 7 years and counting now. Most days I’d like to think i’ve got a pretty good grasp of it. Others it just seems like I just can’t get it together no matter how I try. There was a period of time where I just completely gave in and stopped trying all together. I was tired all the time. Between double daily trips to the NICU and still trying to maintain a sense of normalcy at home, I was exhausted. I let myself go and sweatpants were my new uniform.
How is it possible to be a hot mom when you’re so tired? Let’s face it, us mamas have no easy job. We wear multiple hats and are almost always on are feet but it’s still possible with these 5 tips to becoming a hot mama.
5 Tips to Becoming a Hot Mama with Confidence
1. Be honest with yourself.
Let’s be real, sometimes we all just need a nap. It’s okay to ask for help even if all you want is for someone to watch your kids while you are taking a nap. Have you ever heard that saying “it takes a village to raise a child”? Well somebody made that up for a reason. The first step to becoming a hot mama is being honest with yourself about how much you can handle. Don’t allow yourself to experience burn out every day and don’t be afraid to ask for help.
2. Hit the gym.
The gym isn’t for you? Try a 20 minute walk twice a day. Not only will walking help you burn some calories but it will also help you to clear your mind. If you can’t find time to get away for a walk, then take the kids with you. It’ll allow them to wear themselves out and you’ll be killing two birds with one stone. You could even invite another mama and her kids out with you.
3. Don’t be afraid to dress how you want.
There’s nothing hotter than a mom with confidence. Just because you’re a mom doesn’t mean that you have to hide your tiger stripes or dress conservatively. You’ve got a personality and your own style even when you’re a mom. Although I’m a mama, I still love wearing crop tops and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. Be true to who you are and I promise your kids will thank you for it later.
4. Remember to eat.
I know sometimes as moms we put ourselves last and that may mean not eating as well as we should. Well guess what? That stops today! You need fuel to function just as much as your kids do. Remember that you’re responsible for your beautiful little baby(ies) and in order to take care of them you need to take care of yourself first. Food is essential to becoming a hot mama. Not just any food either. Make healthy choices when deciding what to eat. If you find that you don’t have time to eat because you don’t have the extra time in the day to prepare an additional meal, then meal prep earlier in the week. By meal prepping you already have things ready to go when it’s time to eat.
5. Take care of your skin!
This one is the most important tip to becoming a hot mama. Your skin is so important all year round so take care of it. In order to be a hot mama, you have to be in love with the skin that you’re in. will give your skin a silky smooth feel and you’ll have the hot mama glow. Itβs made with 100% pure cocoa and shea butters as well as Vaseline Petroleum Jelly.
With fall right around the corner, we have tons of outdoor activities planned so I’m going to be keeping on hand. I won’t have to worry about my skin looking or feeling dull.

I struggled with it a lot too after my second child. I really let myself go. It’s nice to be getting back into the swing of things and feeling like myself. It takes time and lots of effort but it’s good when you’re back to your normal self.

We’re trying to instill in our girls that skincare is so important, especially at their age. The more they do to preserve it now, they better off they’ll be when they’re our age!

Thank you! It took my some time to get back in the gym. I started slowly with walking and gradually worked my way up to the workouts. I’ll admit I’ve fallen off lately but I’m getting back into my groove.

That confidence part is hard sometimes but I like that you give yourself permission to eat. It takes the battle and guilt out of our every day when we remind ourselves… food is not an enemy. And when we stop beating ourselves up we start feeling better about ourselves. π
