I received compensation from Bayer Consumer Health, makers of MiraLAX® to write this post. MiraLAX® is a laxative used to treat occasional constipation. All opinions are entirely my own. #ReLAXOnTheGo #CollectiveBias
Summer for us means we’re always on the go. Our travel schedule is a little hectic. We have multiple trips planned every month and sometimes things can get away from us. I realized early on in the summer that I needed to put together a go-to summer travel essentials kit that I could pack in my bag without worrying if I was forgetting anything.
If you’re like me and have more things to do than you can remember, this summer travel essentials kit could be helpful for you to.
Summer Travel Essentials
1. First aid kit
We never go anywhere without a first aid kit anymore. Honestly, my daughter and I are accident prone so we need all of the things that a first aid kit comes with. We also put a few extra things in there as well like bug spray and itching cream since summer in Florida is also known as mosquito season.
2. Headphones
Have you ever been on an airplane with a screaming baby or a loud snorer? Yeah, me too. Headphones were my saving grace. I keep them in my summer essentials kit at all times so I don’t have to worry about that happening again. They’re also good for tuning out your kid when they’re asking “are we there yet” 100 times on a road trip.
3. Hand sanitizer
Traveling of course increases our exposure to germs. I keep a travel sized sanitizer in my kit but we also have our own individual ones just in case.
4. MiraLAX® Mix-In Pax®
When we travel, we eat. A lot! I’ll admit that I get a little carried away with food when we’re traveling. I want to try all of the things but can you blame me? New destinations bring new tastes. Sometimes trying all of the things get me into a little trouble though. MiraLAX® Mix-In Pax have been a lifesaver for me while on the go. Occasional constipation is no joke guys. When I need to go, I use the MiraLAX® Mix-in Pax as directed for effective relief. Because it works with the body, MiraLAX® provides a gentle experience, and doesn’t cause harsh side effects.
5. Hair ties
Be honest, how many times have you traveled without hair ties? Way more than you’d probably like to admit. Throw a few hair ties into your summer travel essentials kit so you won’t have to scrounge for something to tie your hair up.
6. Facial wipes
I don’t always feel like washing my face when we’re traveling. Sometimes I’m just too exhausted, sometimes I don’t have access to a sink especially if we’re on a long road trip, and sometimes I just forget. Facial wipes are a must for me!
7. Face masks
Traveling can be tough on your skin. I always have to travel with a face mask or two to re-hydrate my skin once we get to our destination. After a long day of traveling, it’s great to kick back and relax with a face mask on.
