Happy Monday! Hopefully everyone had an amazing weekend. It was our first weekend back from Puerto Rico, but we’re so glad to be home. This weekend was filled with events, but our favorite had to be the grand reopening of Sports Authority. A few of the Sports Authority stores in Orlando underwent complete makeovers and to celebrate they had a grand reopening. We went to check out the South Orlando store and play catch with Johnny Damon. Cool, right?
During the grand reopening, there were lots of games and activities like football and face painting. We were able to walk the brand new layout of the store which is easier to shop. It’s organized by sport and very easy to navigate. Sports Authority has a large selection of name brands including Nike, Under Armor, adidas, and North Face. Their large selection has something for every member of your family whether they are a lover of sports or just love to be active.
In the spirit of giving back, Sports Authority is also donating $50,000 to renovate local athletic fields and is inviting customers to join them in making a difference. From May 16 to June 12, customers can round up their total purchase to the next dollar and all proceeds will directly benefit Orlando community fields. So be sure to stop into a Sports Authority near you and round up your purchase in an effort to give back.
