A Makeover For A Worthy Cause

Lancome Gives Back | Orlando Blogger Happy hump day dolls! Earlier today I had the opportunity to support an amazing initiative by Lancôme for St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital by getting a makeover for a worthy cause. The Moments of Happiness campaign will support the cause through regional in-store events, an interactive initiative and a nationwide fundraising effort where 100% of the donations will benefit St. Jude. It’s the 6th year that Lancôme is participating in this initiative and this year they are inviting all of their customers to get involved in a major way.

From October 18th to October 24th, the brand will donate $1 directly to St. Jude for every transaction made on Lancome-usa.com and at Lancôme counters nationwide. A limited-edition bracelet will also be offered at Lancôme counters at incremental donations, with all proceeds donated directly to St. Jude.

This initiative is an amazing one and Dillard’s is taking it even further to allow its’ customers to get involved by bringing in celebrity makeup artist Mickey Williams. Mickey Williams is visiting select Lancôme counters across the country through October 24th, providing consultations, applications, product recommendations and tips and tricks for achieving the latest Fall beauty trends. Dillard’s has even pledged to match every dollar Lancôme donates from transactions in-store and online from October 16 – October 24th, effectively doubling the philanthropy at the retailer.

I loved getting my makeup down by Mickey Williams and I’m so in love with Lancôme after trying their products. I went in with literally no makeup on and felt completely transformed after leaving.

Hey Bi, You keep me so informed and alms giving is something I always share at some time during he year. I don’t mind going in to make up counters or donating online if possible but I love when employers allow you to sign up and pick the charities you want to donate to and the percentage of your check you want taken out. The donations come out before taxes and it makes things so much easier all year long. I love the pleated ankle length skirt and I think I show a similar one on Jane.com. Your make up rocks and the pictures are just great.
