Recently my boyfriend and I went on vacation to Puerto Rico to celebrate my graduation. We spent the first half off our stay at The Condado Plaza Hilton in San Juan. Condado Plaza is about 20-25 minutes from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport and is right on Condado Beach.
The Condado Plaza Hilton has several options for accommodations including the Guestroom, Deluxe Room, Ocean View Room, Junior/Family Junior Suite, Ocean Suite, and Penthouse Ocean View/Residence 3 Bedroom Suite. No matter which room you choose you’ll love the view! All rooms feature complimentary WiFi, 32″ LCD Flat Screen TVs, hairdryers, black out curtains, telephones, coffee makers, in-room safes, and more. Rates start as low as $139/night so it’s a perfect option for a family vacation or a romantic getaway.
One thing that I love about The Condado Plaza Hilton is that there are so many places to unwind and relax. On the same floor as the lobby there was a bar, lounge, and tons of open space for mingling and hanging out. There is an outdoor space that overlooks the beach with hammocks and chairs. The property has 3 pools and a jacuzzi. One of the pools even has a waterslide! If you’re looking to enjoy a swim alone, I would suggest swimming in the smaller pool located in the same building with Denny’s (building 2 I believe). During our entire stay, we noticed that no one was in there as they were in the other pools. The larger pool with the waterslide also has a swim-up bar.
The rooms have amazing features! My favorite was the mirror in the bathroom. Ok, I know that’s a little vain but the lighting was literally the best! Each room has a couch and a desk which are definitely both must haves. The Mr isn’t a fan of me working on vacation so I always wait until he’s asleep. I always love to get a tiny bit of work done while I’m on vacation, and having somewhere else to sit besides the bed is great.
You can also find a closet and drawers in your bathroom if you’re one that likes to hang and unpack your clothes while on vacation. If you have a busy itinerary, it’s always a great idea to unpack and plan all of your outfits when you check into your room. That way you’re cutting time when you’re getting ready every day because you’re looks are already planned.
All in all, I had a fabulous time at The Condado Plaza Hilton! It was a perfect way to kick off my graduation celebration. We were able to relax on the beach and have fun in the casino.
