Getting Glam With Blo Blow Dry Bar Orlando

Blo Blow Dry Bar Grand Opening | Elle B Styles

Since the birth of blow dry bars, they have been popping up all over the place. Blo Blow Dry Bar is the latest to hit the Orlando scene. It’s something very different as we only have about a handful of blow dry bars to choose from. I was honored to be chosen as one of the ladies to attend the Grand Opening.

The atmosphere is so chic. It’s white with grey and pops of pink (and we all know that I love pink). The first Blo was opened in 2007 and currently had 45+ locations across North America, United Kingdom, the Philippines, and Canada. Blo Orlando offers blo outs for only $40 (Canada $38). In addition to blo outs, you can get a manicure or your makeup done at Blo Orlando.

Blo Blow Dry Bar has 3 wash stations and 8 styling chairs. Their hair menu features 7 styles including Holly Would and Pillow Talk. Blo uses their own signature product line, Unite, which is made up of sulfate free products. The only product that is not sulfate free is The Weekender because it is a clarifying shampoo.  All of the products smell heavenly and sweet, kind of like cupcakes.

I got all dolled up at the Grand Opening and I loved it. I have naturally curly hair and a lot of it so I was glad that they were able to tackle it. The only con about my experience is that I feel like the blow dryers don’t get hot enough. With all of this hair on my head, it takes some major heat to tame it. If it’s not dry all of the way then my hair will frizz as soon as I step outside. The flat irons were Hot Tools which is what I use at home. I chose was Pillow Talk. I absolutely loved it, but it didn’t last longer than a few hours once I stepped into the heat.

I am so glad that you are representing for women who do not straighten their hair with chemicals because I wear my natural hair and have even worn a Mohawk with braids on each side. One of my favorite hairstyles and my blowouts usually last longer because I have real fine hair. Usually, I just keep refreshing it daily. What helped me was finding a good hair spray that promises to prevent frizz. It will help to hold the style a little longer. You would also look great with the partially braided style using human hair. Then you could have that pillowtalk look for month and be able to wash and style your hair as usually. My next goal is to get my Cosmetology License so I can help women and men look their best! I would love to get in your head!
